Oh alright then, I've finally succumbed ...
The lure of vanity publishing has finally proved too strong. So here we go, somewhat belatedly into the wonderful world of blogging. Just don't expect anything too earth-shattering, OK?
I've worked in IT for over 20 years now. I've done software development, promoted agile methods, performed technology evaluation, participated in international standards, attempted project management, lead teams, been a consultant, defined architectures, and had responsibility for the operation of a global technology infrastructure. My experience has been gained within two of the truly global industries — telecommunications and finance ... and in Real Life ...
You'll find me trying to keep up with the increasingly hectic schedule of my wife and two children. When I'm not doing that (and sometimes when I am) you might encounter me playing the E-flat bass tuba and conducting the choir at the Salvation Army in Felixstowe. If there's any time free after that, I have been known to write software, songs and even a book for fun. And if there's any free time after that, I'd like some more sleep please ...
